What calmfinance Does

calmfinance is a manual personal finance app for tracking accounts, transactions, budgets, goals, investments, backups, imports, and exports. The app is not a bank, broker, payment provider, tax service, or financial adviser.

No Financial Advice

The app provides tools and calculations for your own informational use only. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, legal, accounting, or other professional advice. You are responsible for your financial decisions and should consult a qualified professional when needed.

Your Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and import.
• You are responsible for reviewing exports, backups, restored data, exchange rates, investment quotes, and calculations before relying on them.
• You are responsible for keeping your device, Apple Account, iCloud, app lock passcode, and exported files secure.
• You may not use the app for unlawful, abusive, or unauthorized purposes.

Purchases And Subscriptions

Pro features may be offered through a monthly subscription, a free trial, or a lifetime purchase when available. Purchases, subscription renewals, cancellations, billing, taxes, and refunds are handled by Apple through StoreKit and the App Store.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel them through your Apple Account settings before renewal. Cancelling a subscription keeps Pro access active until the end of the current paid period, unless Apple or applicable law provides otherwise.

The subscription name, duration, localized price, renewal period, and any free trial terms are shown in the app before purchase and confirmed by Apple.

Backups, Exports, And Third-Party Services

iCloud Sync is off by default. If you turn it on in Settings > Data Sync, your app data is synchronized through your private iCloud account across devices signed in to the same Apple Account, subject to Apple's terms and policies.

If you use backups, backup files are stored in iCloud Drive for your Apple Account and the backup encryption key is stored in iCloud Keychain. iCloud, iCloud Drive, iCloud Keychain, StoreKit, and the App Store are provided by Apple and are subject to Apple's terms and policies.

Currency rates may be requested from open.er-api.com, and investment ticker searches or quotes may be requested from Yahoo Finance. Third-party data may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, or unavailable.

Exported CSV files are not encrypted by calmfinance after you create or share them. You are responsible for where you store or send exported files.

License And Ownership

Subject to these terms, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app. calmfinance and its design, code, name, and content are owned by the developer or licensors and are protected by applicable laws.

You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, modify, distribute, or misuse the app except where applicable law gives you a right that cannot be limited by these terms.

Availability And Changes

The app is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. Features, limits, prices, supported data formats, and integrations may change over time. We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the app where needed.

Limitation Of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, calmfinance and its developer are not liable for financial losses, lost data, lost profits, indirect damages, or decisions you make based on app data, calculations, exchange rates, investment quotes, imports, exports, backups, or restored data.

Termination

You may stop using the app at any time and may delete the app from your device. We may restrict access to features if you misuse the app, violate these terms, or if required by law or platform rules.
